Chelsea has lost its last friendly game in its tour in the United States from AC Milan. A large crowd of 57.000 people saw how Dutch player Urby Emanuelson stadium made the only goal in the 68th minute of the game.

“I thought EdenHazard was interesting on the left and he looked a big threat”

Di Matteo chose to put both Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku in his starting line. Eden first played on the left as a winger, and the second half more centrally. On the last position, he caused the Milan Defense to run into several difficulties.

Di Matteo’s analysis: “I thought Eden Hazard was interesting on the left and he looked a big threat but the organisation today was very good.”

Earlier this week, Chelsea also lost a game on Wednesday evening in Pennsylvania. John Terry and Frank Lampard scored but Chelsea were eventually beaten 3-2 versus the Major Soccer League All Stars team.

The defeat is no big deal, as the MLS is getting better every day, and they are in mid-season, While Chelsea is still in a pre-season phase. However, Di Matteo must be aware that Chelsea still needs a replacement for Drogba. Lukaku is too young to take the role of top scorer, and leader in the team.

PS: This US-idea of making an “All Stars” team: What a great idea! Can someone take this up with the football authorities of the different countries?
The football fans would go crazy if they can witness a one-day team with the best players on each position. Imagine the All Stars of England versus the Spanish “Primera Division”-All Stars: Messi ánd Ronaldo ánd Javi, Iniesta, Özil.

Of course, for Charity purposes; not for Sepp Blatter!
