Manchester city offer on Eden Hazard?

According to Eden's agent, Marc Formeux, Manchester City has made an offer of 30 Million to buy Eden. According to his agent, Eden is mostly interested in an offer of Real Madrid... Not sure if betting on Real Madrid is a good gamble or not... It's not sure Mourinho has counted Eden into his plans. Currently it looks like only Barcelona can stop the Machine from Madrid. Hazard: "Waiting for Real Madrid"

Spanish newspaper "El Confidencial" wrote that in an interview Hazard said "he would only be interested in an offer from Real Madrid".
Italian newspaper Gazetta dello Sport would even know he has signed a pre-contract with Real.

Real Madrid's sports director Zinedine Zidane is a big fan of Eden, and is one of the few people who can really estimate how good Eden is, but more importantly how good he will be. Real would be a good choice for Eden, although this website believes Barcelona would be a better choice. Playing with Messi is still a different level than playing with Ronaldo. Messi had a great possibility in the last years to grow into the player he is now, and eden will get the go the same way.

Hazard: "Got an offer from AC Milan"

Arsenal Ready to make an offer on Eden?

According to rather serious sources, Arsenal would be looking into making an offer for Eden Hazard.

Arsenal is considering adding Eden Hazard to it's team. Manager Arsène Wenger believes the twenty year old midfielder from Lille should be an improvement to his current team.

One week before the deadline some transfers are being done that could influence this decision. Apparently Arsenal seems inclined to agree on Manchester City's offer on Samir Nasri. Eden would then be the replacement for him.

But to contract Eden, Arsenal will have to pay a serious price. Lille asking price is between 20 and 30 Million Euros. Eden was one of the key players in the victory of the Cup and the Championship in French League 1. No need to say that Wenger, who is French, is following that league very closely in search for young talents.

However, Lille's general director claims that "Eden can't leave this season anymore. We are aware of the interest of many big clubs, but we don't want to sell him".

Gervinho reported for physical tests at Arsenal

Gervinho has arrived in Arsenal for medical tests. Arsenal should finish the deal soon. Eden´s team colleague should sign a contract for 4 years. Transfer price would be 12 million. Arsene Wenger had put a high priority on the transfer of Gervinho who scored 15 goals and made 10 assists, being an important player to guide Lille to win the championship.

		Important news. Real Madrid has appointed Zinedine Zidane as the new Sports Director. Zidane, who currently works as an advisor the the club's president on first-team affairs, will be taking the position after Real president Florentino Perez announced Wednesday that the club's management would be restructured following the dismissal of director general Jorge Valdano.

Valdano had recently and repeatedly clashed with coach José Mourinho. Mourinho, who is currently one of the best football coaches in the world, won the duel of power between them, and Valdano had to go.

"There were two people with a strong sports character and the harmony that needs to exist was lacking. You were all witnesses of this over the past season. There was a clear dysfunction that needed to be resolved," he said.

Perez said the restructuring would give the club a more "English" style that would grant Mourinho more autonomy over decision-making as the Portuguese coach has long demanded.

Zidane, who played for Real for five years between 2001 and 2006, has been a special advisor to Perez since November 2010.

The three-time FIFA World Player of the Year will now inherit the post of Sports Director. INTER is interested in Eden Hazard. Massimo Moratti, president of Champions League-winner Inter, has show his interest for Hazard.

Moratti called Hazard "very surprising" during an interview with television channel Sky Sport. "Giuseppe Rossi (attacker at Villarreal - See transfernews page of young talents) is a strong player, but Hazard is more surprising", said Moratti.

Zinédine Zidane has admitted again on French TV Canal Plus that he recommended Lille-player Eden Hazard to Real Madrid. Zidane is since this season advisor of the first team and works closely with Real-manager José Mourinho. "It is possible he will come to Madrid. What he is doing for Lille is exceptional."

French Sports Magazine L'equipe has a big Cover Story on the young Belgian talent.

Not only is he on the front cover, he is also on page 2 and 3.

L'equipe describes him as one of the stars in the league, and is also called "a wizard".

On a poll asking if Eden is currently the best player of the league, 43% of the readers voted yes. Internet Poll L'equipe

Eden is happy with the attention but remarks: " It's funny there is so much talk about me right now. 1,5 months ago they said I was playing a moderate level. That means things can go fast in football and thats the reason why I will stay focused."

Eden Hazard is playing very well in France and a transfer seems to be upcoming. President Michel Seydoux also recognizes this:

"It is a pleasure to see him play, against Monaco he was incredible again. There will be some offers, but the player has realized he has a good place here in Lille"

A brilliant Eden has guided Lille to the first place in the French championship! The Belgian prepared both goals for Pierre Alain Frau and Ludovic Obraniak.

Eden would be on the shortlist of Liverpool. This has been reported by the The Daily Telegraph. The midfielder is shortlisted, just like his Belgian colleague Steven Defour for a possible transfer during the winter break. Liverpool is not doing to well and need a stronger midfield to dominate the games.

Eden Hazard responds to the earlier criticism by playing a great game vs. Caen in the French Cup. A penalty foul was committed against him, and with a great dribble and goal he executes Caen with 1-4.

Lille beats Levski Sofia with 1-0. Eden was awarded the "Man of the Match" award. Especially in the second half, his dribbles were exceptional.

Marc Wilmots, the T2 of the Belgium national team explained why Eden didn't start in the game. He want him to work harder on training. Also Georges Leekens criticized him to show more seriousness during trainings.

Belgium's national coach opts for attackers Jelle Vossen and Lukaku in the game versus Kazakhstan. Eden is currently noticeable not in top form, while both other players currently are, and Belgium needs to score.

Turkey-Belgium 3-2. Succescoach Guus Hiddinck guided the Turkish national team to a victory, after Belgium came back to 2-2. Eden only played the last minutes of the match.

The Belgian National Team lost it´s first EC qualifier match. Belgium-Germany 0-1. Hazard played a strong match together with Dembélé.

Belgian newspapers report Eden will become father soon. He and his girlfriend are expecting a first baby by the end of the year.

Eden Hazard was not transferred and will play for Lille at least until January, when the winter transfermarket opens.

Lille has played a 1-1 draw versus Nice. The 4th consecutive draw already this season. Eden played 90 minutes and scored a goal.

New Season has started. Lille played 1-1 against Rennes. Eden made the assist for 1-1. Eden has injured on the head and had to play with bandage around the head.

In an interview with Aziz Yıldırım, the president of Fenerbahce, he said that Fenerbahce had offered 19 million for Eden Hazard, but Lille wanted 25 million. "We are not going to buy him anymore because we think 25 million is too much"

Preparations for Season 2010 - 2011 have begun. No transfer has been made yet. Eden still plays for Lille, but the transfer period is not over.

Eden Hazard is hot on the transfer lists of the European best clubs! According to the French newspaper Le parisien, Real Madrid has offered a 22 million for the 19 year old attacking midfielder. They state Lille has declined the offer, and would like to recieve 30 million for this talented youngster.

Also it is said Bayern Munich would have made Lille an offer, but also insufficient. Earlier Fenerbache wanted to pay 15 million.

"Eden Hazard will probably play next season in the Turkish league". That was said Wednesday by his manager Ekrem Örenç to Özgür Sancar in Radyospor (Turkish radio station). According to him, the future of the midfielder is situated in the Turkish Super League because he can get more playing minutes.

The ask price for the 19-year-old player is not 30 million, as some media reported but 15 million euros, he says. According to Turkish media, Fenerbahce will confirm the transfer of Eden Hazard within 1 week.

Eden has played an important role in the victory of Belgium over Bulgaria (2-1), which was a friendly game. In this very last game of the season, a penalty fault was commited against him, and he gave 2 assist on the late goals. His penalty however was stopped by the Bulgarian keeper.

Lyon has openly shown interest in Eden for a possible transfer. Lyon would like to discuss this with Lille as soon as possible. Lyon's President Jean-Michel Aulas quotes: "We were interested last year, but the price was scaringly high. Last year, we also contacted them, but there was no breakthrough since was expected that Eden would play Champions League with Lille. We will only transfer Lyon for a price that fits into Lyon's transfer policy"

The French Ligue 1 2009-2010 ended, and Eden's team Lille has conquered the fourth place. Not enough for Champions league participation however. Lille wil play in the Europa league next year.

Sports Newspaper L'equipe published a list of best Belgian players ever in the French League. Eden is awarded with the second place, after Enzo Scifo who used to play for Auxerre. Behind Eden comes Daniel Van Buyten (Marseille), Frank Vercauteren (Nantes) en Erwin Vandenbergh (Lille).

For the second consecutive time, Eden Hazard is awarded the Best Young Player in France Ligue 1! This time for the season 2009-2010.

Moreover, he scored second place in the category Best Player, right after Argentian goalgetter Lisandro Lopez, who was transferred to Lyon for ...24 Million Euro Last Year.

Eden Hazard's Lille places itself in the TOP 3 of the French Ligue 1. Place 3 allows the team to play Champions League next year (with qualifiers)

German newspaper Bild published a list of 17 players that are on the shortlist of Bayern Munich. Eden Hazard is listed, together with talented youngsters dembélé (AZ Alkmaar) and Romelu Lukaku (Anderlecht).

Eden Hazard has been elected Best Player in March of Ligue 1 in France. He aquired 55% of the votes, far ahead of his competitors.

Arsène Wenger, the French manager of Arsenal, has opened hunting season on Eden Hazard. Allegedly Eden was called in person by Wenger to discuss his future and to express the interest Arsenal has in the talented Belgian "Red Devil".
