Eden Hazard wins PFA Young Player award of season 2013-2014
Eden Hazard has done it again!
After a series of trophies in France, Eden is also starting to win awards in the Premier League, the strongest football competition.
The Belgian winger got more votes that young talents Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool), Ross Barkley (Everton), Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, and left back Luke Shaw (Southampton)
After receiving the award Eden said: “After winning the award, Hazard said: ‘It’s always good to win awards because it means you’ve had a good season, but I prefer to win things collectively and I must say thank you to all my Chelsea team-mates, the staff and the fans.’
Eden Hazard, who joined the club from Lille for 40 Million Euro in 2012, has scored 17 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances for Chelsea this season.
The 23-year-old forward scored a remarkable hat-trick against Newcastle in February and also hit vital goals against Arsenal, Tottenham and title rivals Liverpool.
