Chelsea signs Brazilian talent Oscar

Eden Hazard has a new colleague ar Chelsea: Chelsea officially announced the transfer of Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior, mainly known as Oscar.

The 20-year-old player is coming from Internacional, a club from the State Porto Alegre. Oscar, right footed, is considered a big talent, and has already won some awards at young age. Transfer sum is approximately 20 Million Euro.

In 2008, Oscar won the Brazilian Championship (Campeonato Brasileiro Série A) with FC São Paulo. Awarded as best player in the Trofeo Quixote 2008 tournament (-17 years). Winner of the Under 19 Cup tournament called “Copa Sendai”, and also voted as best player of the tournament.

Oscar has played several games for the Brazilian national team Under-20

Oscar will be playing with the Under-23 team of Brazil playing at the London Olympics this summer. Also 3 players over 23 are allowed to play. These 3 players will be joining the team: attackers Neymar (Santos), Hulk (Porto), and defender Thiago Silva from Milan.

It is expected Oscar will be playing for a spot in the first team of Chelsea.
