Real Madrid interested in Eden Hazard
Former Real president: “100 million pounds for Hazard is no problem”
Once again the rumors are at full speed again regarding a transfer of Eden Hazard from Chelsea to Real Madrid.
Ramon Calderon, former president of Real Madrid between 2006 and 2009, gave his opinion.
According to Calderon Real will certainly be willing to pay 100 million pounds (115 million euros) for Hazard. “Chelsea knows the transfer market in recent years like no other. Since Ronaldo, Bale and Pogba, 100 million pounds has almost become the norm,” Calderon told the Spanish radio talkSPORT. “I think that is the sum that Chelsea will ask for Hazard . Real is financially very well, such amount will not be a problem. Everything depends on the player: if he wants to leave, he will leave. Only when Hazard says he wants to leave, negotiations will begin. I think it will be like that at the end of the season.”
Eden Hazard played for Chelsea since 2012, which at that time paid 40 million euros to Lille. He has a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2020. However, Hazard is a big fan of Real coach Zinédine Zidane and love is mutual. According to Calderon Hazard would certainly have its place in the star team of Real. “Great players like Hazard can find their place in any club, they fit everywhere.”

According to ‘The Guardian’ and now Marca this summer it should happen. There are chairman elections coming, and Pérez would want a big name. We have heard of number of names like Kylian Mbappé, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or… Eden Hazard.
Perhaps first Real would need to sell Isco and James Rodríguez. Both creative players are looking for a transfer because they are being blocked by Ronaldo-Bale. Something Hazard will undoubtedly think about when taking a decision, should it ever come to that.
