Chelsea’s Kalou moves from Chelsea to Hazard’s ex-club Lille.

The Ivory Coast international, who is currently 26 year, has signed for Lille, just weeks after Belgian playmaker Eden Hazard made the opposite move across the Channel.
The former Feyenoord man, who played for six years at Chelsea, follows in the footsteps of his elder brother, Bonaventure, who played for a number of French clubs between 2003 & 2007.

In an interview with Lille’s official website, Kalou revealed:”This is an ambitious club, and I have been in regular contact with the coach, Rudi Garcia, who managed to convince me to join his team. And since my contract with Chelsea was running out this summer, things panned out easily.”
